Driving Tactics, Avoiding Deer: Do Not Swerve

All of us have been in this situation before, where a deer crosses the street and freezes in your headlights. As a driver hauling an 80,000 pound trailer, what are you supposed to do?
Your first instinct may be to swerve out of the way to avoid killing an animal, but swerving can cause you to crash into oncoming traffic, or lose control of the vehicle resulting in further damage or injury. The best thing to do in this situation is to drive straight on, not leaving your lane.
The driver in the screenshot above responded correctly.
